Attacking Soul Esports and EDward Gaming became the first and second teams confirmed for the Masters tournament in Tokyo, Japan.
CHINA – The two first confirmed teams to attend VCT Masters Tokyo are Attacking Soul Esports and EDward Gaming from China, VALORANT Esports China revealed on Weibo.
Attacking Soul Esports have been invited to Tokyo after becoming FGC VALORANT Invitational Act I champions, winning the grand final against EDward Gaming in their second tournament since adding EDG’s very own former player Qu “Life” Donghao.

ASE have been showing good form heading into their first international tournament, with victories over the region’s VCT LOCK//IN representatives, EDward Gaming and FunPlus Phoenix, in the domestic competition.
Joining ASE will be EDward Gaming, who clinched the last and final spot for China. The team, headlined by star player Zheng “ZmjjKK” Yongkang, will attend their third international tournament in June.
VCT Masters Tokyo will take place from June 11-25, with ten more spots to be handed out through three international leagues: EMEA (4), Americas (3), and Pacific (3).
The group stage matches will occur from June 11 to June 14, and the playoff stage will resume on June 16 after a one-day break. The tournament will observe a two-day break on June 22 and 23, followed by the lower final and grand final on June 24 and the Grand Final on June 25 to crown the champions.
