Berlin will once again play host to the VALORANT Game Changers Championship, scheduled for November 8–17.
GERMANY – Riot Games has announced that the 2024 VALORANT Game Changers Championship will be hosted in Berlin.
The annual year-end competition for the Game Changers scene is scheduled to take place from November 8–17 in front of a crowd at the Riot Games Arena, which currently serves as the venue for VCT EMEA and the same venue where G2 Gozen claimed victory over Shopify Rebellion GC two years ago.
The major change for this year is the consolidation of Southeast Asia and East Asia into a larger Pacific region, while China retains its separate slot. Meanwhile, the EMEA region will see an increase in slots from two to three compared to last year.

“With the expansion to a fourth International League and the success in APAC, the Game Changers Championship will grow from 8 to 10 teams, providing more opportunities for teams worldwide,” Riley Yurk, Principal Strategist for VALORANT Esports stated. “We believe that increasing the opportunity at the biggest Game Changers moment is the best way to foster growth and support new teams.”
This will mark the third international Game Changers event hosted, with Shopify Rebellion currently holding the title after their victory in the 2023 edition held in São Paulo. Representing the Pacific, Team SMG secured fourth place after falling to eventual finalists Team Liquid Brazil. The team will be hoping to qualify once more this year, now under the name Xipto Esports, competing through the SEA circuit.
For the first time ever, a LAN event will be held to decide the two teams representing the Pacific region at the VALORANT Game Changers Championship. Ten teams from Southeast Asia (3), South Asia (1), Japan (2), Korea (1), and Oceania (1) will participate in the competition in Bangkok, Thailand, scheduled from October 1-6.
