BOOM Esports lock in a rising talent as the final piece of their roster for next season in Seoul.
INDONESIA – BOOM Esports have announced that they have completed the signing of Dastan “dos9” Zhumagali from Revenant Esports.
The Kazakhstani player will step in to fill the vacancy left by Sha “ZesBeeW” Mohtar, who was allowed to explore other opportunities following BOOM Esports’ promotion to the Pacific League, replacing Bleed Esports. dos9’s signing concludes BOOM’s week-long search for ZesBeeW’s replacement, during which the team scouted and engaged in talks with various domestic and international talents.

dos9 arrives at his new team after spending the 2024 season with India-based Revenant Esports. Touted as a hidden gem from Kazakhstan in Revenant’s announcement, he spent nine months with the team, during which he played a key role in their victory at VALORANT Challengers South Asia Split 2, earning them a spot in the VCT Ascension Pacific Jakarta tournament.
Despite an early exit in 7th-8th place at Ascension, dos9’s individual performance stood out. dos9 finished as the highest-rated player in the entire Split 2 tournament in India, boasting a 1.41 VLR rating and 268.6 ACS, and ranked as the sixth-highest performer at Ascension.
By bringing in one of the most impressive players from Challengers South Asia this season, BOOM Esports will be hoping to enhance their firepower as they head into the upcoming VCT Pacific League next season.
