DetonatioN FocusMe have announced their VCT roster for next year, which includes the signing of five new players.
JAPAN – DetonatioN FocusMe have unveiled their new 2024 VCT roster, headlined by the Crazy Raccoon player trio of Ibuki “Meiy” Seki, Yusuke “neth” Matsuda, and Souta “popogachi” Morita.
The trio previously spearheaded Crazy Raccoon’s efforts in VCL Japan Split 1 and 2, guiding the team to secure second and fourth-place finishes, respectively. Their transfer to DetonatioN FocusMe is part of a strategic partnership between DFM and CR, where the latter will assist in areas including public relations, video production, organizing watch parties and events, as well as in the production and sales of merchandise.

Yoshitaka “Anthem” Enomoto and Seo “Suggest” Jae-young are the only players retained from the previous iteration of DFM, with Cho “JoXJo” Byung-yeon and Tomonori “SSeeS” Okimura rounding out the seven-man roster.
DFM’s previous roster failed to find a single success throughout their time in Seoul for the VCT Pacific League, struggling to clinch a series win in ten attempts. This left them as the only team among the 30 across all three regions without a win. With the new lineup, DetonatioN FocusMe will be hoping to shift their trajectory to contend on the same level against the other ten Pacific teams, including their domestic rival, ZETA DIVISION.
DetonatioN FocusMe will debut their new roster on December 2 when the Riot Games ONE Pro Invitational kicks off, with their first match pitting them against Natus Vincere in a best-of-one.
