DetonatioN FocusMe’s roster overhaul has started with the removal of the trio from the active lineup.
JAPAN – DetonatioN FocusMe have allowed Yusuke “neth” Matsuda, Yoshitaka “Anthem” Enomoto, and An “Medusa” Min-cheol to explore other options as restricted free agents heading into the next season.
The benching of longtime member Anthem means there are no remaining players from DetonatioN FocusMe’s original winless 2023 roster. “Thank you for the past two years! There have been various members who joined and left along the way, but I appreciate everyone! I am especially grateful to everyone from the first year,” Anthem took to Twitter to thank his teammates since he joined in October 2022.

Only two players remain on the active roster: Ibuki “Meiy” Seki and Tomonori “SSeeS” Okimura. Meiy is expected to be the cornerstone of DFM’s new lineup, with his contract recently extended through 2027. On the other hand, SSeeS’s contract expires this year and has not been extended, leaving his future with the team uncertain for next season.
For the 2024 VCT Pacific season, DetonatioN FocusMe brought in the entire Crazy Raccoon roster to turn around their winless performance from the previous year.
The new lineup, headlined by Meiy, showed significant improvement, including historic wins against T1 and domestic rivals ZETA DIVISION, and pushing four other stronger opponents to a three-map series. However, despite the progress, the results were still overall underwhelming, as the team struggled to translate these efforts into a positive record.
Throughout the season, neth, Anthem, and Medusa were statistically the lowest-performing players for DFM, consistently averaging below 1 during the KICKOFF event and both stages of the Regular Season.
Detonation FocusMe are yet to announce their next move or more details about the change, but as of now, they have the following roster:
