DRX will attend their fourth OFF//SEASON tournament in January 2024, taking place in China.
SOUTH KOREA – DRX are set to attend a Chinese OFF//SEASON event scheduled for January 2024, in-game leader Kim “stax” Gu-taek together with head coach Seon-ho “termi” Pyeon confirmed in a recent Bilibili interview hosted by Skye不得了.
“We are coming to China at the beginning of next year in January.” The yet-to-be-announced event is expected to be held in Chengdu, as there could be some confusion in the KR-ZH translation that may incorrectly imply Qingdao as the location—a city unfamiliar with hosting major esports events.
“Finally, ever since the open beta of VALORANT in China, we’ve been hearing about it and have wanted to visit China. Now we can finally make the trip, and we’re very excited to meet our fans.”

It will feature teams from Korea, Japan, and China, making it a tri-nation event for the East Asia region. However, there has been minimal official public information as of now, but more details are expected to be announced in the upcoming days or weeks.
The upcoming CN OFF//SEASON event will mark DRX’s fourth appearance during the OFF//SEASON period, following their participation in the TEN VALORANT Global Invitational, Red Bull Home Ground Tokyo, and the AfreecaTV VALORANT League.
It remains under wraps whether DRX will travel to China with their original roster or if they will opt for a more experimental approach, potentially giving less experienced players the opportunity to compete in a LAN environment with lower stakes involved.
