SISU, the 2024 GC Pacific semi-finalists, have been signed by UAE-based organization Ascend.
PHILIPPINES – UAE-based Ascend has officially signed a new VALORANT Game Changers roster, built around the core of the former SISU squad.
Four former SISU players—capriciouS, Kon, PIETY, and Grahams—will continue competing together after finishing as runners-up in Game Changers SEA Stage 2 and securing a 3rd-4th place finish in Game Changers Pacific last season. The team came close to qualifying for the 2024 Game Changers Championship but fell short in the qualification match against Xipto Esports, despite winning the first map before ultimately suffering a reverse sweep.
Stepping into the in-game leader role, capriciouS can draw on her experience with ZOL Meraki, Orangutan X, RRQ Kaguya, NYX Kyosei, and AURA Differential, as well as her time with SISU during their first LAN event in Bangkok last year.

Rounding out the starting lineup, ex-Hashira SR and Orangutan X player Japips reunites with PIETY and substitute player shina, whom she played alongside in Game Changers SEA Stage 1. She also reunites with capriciouS, her former teammate from Orangutan X in early 2023.
One notable absence from the roster is Patcharapron “poly” Sanitchai, who competed with SISU last season but will instead reunite with the former X10 Sapphire squad for the 2025 season, a team she previously qualified for the inaugural Game Changers Championship with in 2022.
“Ascend shares the same passion and dedication that we have as players, and having their full support behind us has made a huge impact,” Leanne “Grahams” Ti-in told VALO2ASIA regarding the signing. “It’s given us the confidence and resources to push ourselves even further this year. We came so close to qualifying last season, and that experience only fueled our drive to work harder.
“With everything we’ve been building on, we feel confident that this is the year we finally secure our spot at Game Changers Champions.”
