Gen.G have finalized their roster ahead of the 2025 season with Chae “yoman” Young-mun and Jung “Foxy9” Jae-sung.
SOUTH KOREA – Gen.G have officially announced the signing of Jung “Foxy9” Jae-sung, on a transfer from domestic rivals DRX, finalizing a roster overhaul that also features the addition of Chae “yoman” Young-mun.
The 19-year-old’s signing wraps up Gen.G’s week-long roster overhaul after the departures of Kim “Lakia” Jong-min and Kim “Meteor” Tae-o.
Meanwhile, Byeon “Munchkin” Sang-beom extended his contract just nine hours after declaring himself a free agent from Gen.G, though the official announcement came a week later.

Foxy9 joined DRX in October 2022, during a time when teams had to register six players for the inaugural VCT Pacific season. As a Duelist, he stepped in for Kim “Zest” Gi-seok, playing nearly all regular-season matches while Zest primarily focused on international competitions.
Following the roster changes at the end of 2023, Foxy9 became a regular fixture on the team and found success regardless of his individual performance, contributing to the squad’s journey to the grand finals of VCT Pacific Stage 2 and a 5th-6th place finish at VALORANT Champions Seoul, with victories over KRU Esports, FNATIC, and Trace Esports.
Gen.G are counting on their new additions to help them stay at the top of the VCT Pacific standings next season and maintain their status as one of the world’s best teams. They aim to build on their successes, including winning VALORANT Masters Shanghai, finishing second at VALORANT Masters Madrid, and clinching the VCT Pacific Stage 2 trophy.
The Masters Shanghai champions will debut with yoman and Foxy9 at the TEN VALORANT Asia Invitational, taking place this weekend on October 26-27. They are set to compete against FunPlus Phoenix, Talon Esports, and DRX in that order on the first day.
