VALORANT is coming to the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China, this June.
CHINA – The Mercedes-Benz Arena will host the final three days of VALORANT Masters Shanghai on June 7-9.
With a history of hosting prestigious esports competitions such as the 2023 LPL Spring Finals, along with Dota 2’s The International 9 and The Shanghai Major 2016, the Mercedes-Benz Arena is a fitting choice for VALORANT Masters Shanghai.
Formerly known as the Shanghai World Expo Culture Center, the 18,000-seat arena has been the backdrop for a plethora of national and international events, spanning from iconic musical performances by The Rolling Stones, Katty Perry, Jay Chou, Taylor Swift, and Bruno Mars, to high-profile competitions such as the NBA Global Game China and UFC Fight Night.

The news has been confirmed by 上海发布, a Weibo account managed by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government. They detailed major events happening in the city in May, including VALORANT Masters Shanghai, which will kick off at the VCT CN Arena before moving to a larger venue.
This marks the second international VALORANT event to be held in Asia, following last year’s sole Masters event in Tokyo, Japan, which concluded with FNATIC’s remarkable run to become the first team to win two consecutive international trophies.
Taking place from May 23 to June 9, VALORANT Masters Shanghai will feature twelve teams, with slots to be filled through the four International Leagues. Each league will send three representatives from Stage 1 to compete in the tournament.
Tickets for the VCT CN Arena will go on sale on April 12 at 2 PM SGT (UTC+8) via Cityline (International) and 大麦 (CN). Prices vary from $18 for weekdays to $46 for the weekend across three ticket tiers
