The ex-T1 assistant coach is the newest addition to EDG’s 2026 VCT roster.

CHINA – EDward Gaming have officially announced the signing of Seol "indigo" Do-hoon as part of their coaching staff. With this signing, indigo will be reuniting with head coach Yoon "Autumn" Eu-teum from their time in T1, notably lifting the Masters Bangkok trophy in 2025.

indigo’s resume includes an early coaching stint with T1 Academy in 2022, before his departure to Nongshim RedForce in 2023. As coach at Nongshim RedForce, he led the previous roster to a 3rd and 2nd place finish at Challengers Korea: Split 1 and 2 respectively.

His transition to T1 in 2024 as assistant coach saw a successful OFF//SEASON, with the organization winning Red Bull Home Ground after defeating Cloud9 3-1 in the Grand Final. This success was carried over in 2025 with T1 earning themselves the Masters Bangkok title, lifting the organization’s first trophy at an international VCT event - making this T1’s most successful campaign to date. T1 then ended the 2025 VCT season with a 9-12th place finish at Champions Paris, falling to G2 Esports in the Group Stage.

EDG have undergone an overhaul for their 2026 VCT roster with a major revamp of their coaching team. Autumn’s signing marks the first time an overseas head coach has joined the Chinese team. In addition, EDG have picked up player Wang "cb" Qingchuan and coach Shao "24K" Yubo, both formerly from Nova Esports.

After their relatively subpar performance in 2025, especially after a stellar year in 2024 where they were crowned VCT Champions, EDG are looking to turn things around in 2026. Despite a respectable showing within the CN league along with a 3rd place finish at Masters Bangkok, they failed to make it out of the Group Stage in Champions Paris and were eliminated in 13-16th place.
