The former Bilibili Gaming player Levius returns to competition with WSIG after stepping away earlier this year.

CHINA – Lu “Levius” Yinzhong has officially returned from hiatus, signing with World Sports Invictus Gaming (WSIG). The move sees him join a roster built around the former BLG Academy core after spending the past two seasons with Bilibili Gaming’s main team.

Levius announced a break from competition in January earlier this year, citing mental health challenges and struggles with his form. Individually, his numbers during the 2025 season were modest, with the sentinel player posting below a 1.0 rating across all three VCT CN events. Even so, that same year marked the most successful domestic run in Bilibili Gaming’s history.

Bilibili Gaming opened 2025 with a third-place finish at Kickoff, showing early signs that they could become one of the stronger teams in the region. They followed that up with an even deeper run in Stage 1, finishing second in Beijing, before finally lifting the Season Finals trophy in Chongqing at the end of Stage 2. Those results booked them places at VALORANT Masters Toronto, VALORANT Champions Paris, and the Esports World Cup in Riyadh.

However, while BLG found consistent success domestically, that momentum did not carry over abroad. Their international appearances ultimately ended in disappointment, with the team unable to put together meaningful runs against stronger global opposition.

Now, Levius returns in a different environment with World Sports Invictus Gaming. WSIG have also made several changes to their active lineup. Xu “Tapp” Yihang has joined the roster from Titan Esports Club, while Qiu “superbigguo” Nanxiong has been moved out of the active lineup. Phan “gin” Văn Gin has transferred to UR Esports, while Huang “Apathy” Yingsheng, Liu “Ye” Bocai, and Cui “M1ng929” Jiaming remain with the squad.

Also staying on is head coach Li “rin” Lewei, also known as DK. He is best known for leading Bilibili Gaming to VALORANT Champions Los Angeles back in 2023 and helping the team secure two upset wins over NRG Esports.

The team is currently competing in the China National Competition Season 6 Professional Division. While there is no livestream for the event, the top four playoff teams will qualify for the CN Evolution Series Cup Act 2. The two grand finalists will then advance to the offline finals, where they will join teams coming through four other pathways: internet cafes, collegiate, platform, and partnership tracks.
