Revenant Esports return to VALORANT with ex-S8UL quartet

by Juandi February 25, 2026

The new Revenant XSpark squad, featuring the S8UL Esports quartet, should make their first appearance in the upcoming VALORANT Challengers South Asia 2026 circuit.

INDIARevenant Esports have announced their return to VALORANT, signing four former S8UL Esports players to build their new roster for Challengers South Asia 2026.

The Indian trio of Aman "Hoax" Yadav, Shravana "Techno" Sahoo, and Venkatesh "venka" Sharma, alongside Indonesian player Axel "k1ngkappa" Muhammad, will stay together after winning Predator League India 2026, making the regional title their final achievement as a unit under the S8UL banner.

During that Predator League run, the quartet was joined by Sagnik “hellff” Roy. For Revenant’s new roster, however, hellff has been replaced by Mongolian player Temuulen “consz” Gankhuyag, formerly of The MongolZ, giving the squad a new international piece heading into the 2026 season.

After spending much of 2025 away from official competition, consz only recently returned to action with Goblin Gang in the Vietnam regional tournament for VALORANT Challengers SEA Split 1, where the team finished in 5th-6th place. consz shared his excitement on Twitter, posting: “Super excited to play in a different Asian region. Gonna do my best!”

For venka, the signing also marks a return to familiar ground. He spent most of the 2025 season competing under Revenant Esports before briefly rejoining the S8UL core for the Predator League campaign. While that run began on a high with a title in India, the team was unable to carry the momentum into the APAC stage, where they finished at the bottom of the standings in 13-16th place.

The rest of the ex-S8UL core, Hoax, Techno, and k1ngkappa, also come into 2026 with strong recent experience in the South Asia circuit. Last season, they were among the region’s most competitive lineups, finishing second in both Challengers South Asia Split 3 and the LAN Grand Final, with Velocity Gaming denying them in both decisive runs. Those results left the core just short of securing a place at VCT Ascension Pacific 2025 in Bangkok.

As of the time of writing, Revenant Esports have yet to announce a head coach, or confirm whether they will field one for the roster.

However, a report from Tanmay of Sheep Esports stated that former Velocity Gaming coach Abhisek “GodspeedxD” Bajaj is expected to join the team. GodspeedxD was a key part of Velocity Gaming’s standout 2025 campaign in South Asia, during which the team won three of the four VALORANT Challengers South Asia tournaments before closing the year with a 5th-6th place finish at VCT Ascension Pacific 2025.

He was also already working with the S8UL Esports squad during APAC Predator League 2026, making a move to continue with the core under RNTX a logical step.

Although details on Challengers South Asia 2026 remain limited, it has been confirmed that the circuit will continue this season, with more organizations expected to field teams.
