The Southeast Asian Games, commonly known as SEA Games, is a multi-sport event that is held every two years among Southeast Asian nations. The Games' program includes various sports, and for the third time in a row, esports will be part of the competition.

Joining VALORANT at SEA Games are PUBGM, MLBB, and Wild Rift, which are already well-known internationally when it comes to the competitive esports scene. Crossfire is fairly popular in the early days of Southeast Asian esports, while AK2 (Attack Online 2) is mostly only popular in Cambodia and unfamiliar to most players of other countries in Southeast Asia.

Sources familiar with the situation suggest that the format will be comparable to that of the SEA Esports Championship 2023.

The tournament will take place in Olympia Mall, Phnom Penh, beginning with a single round-robin group held for the first two days, with the top four teams automatically progressing to the semi-finals. The playoffs will take place on Wednesday, May 10, featuring two semi-final matches, a third-place decider, and a grand final.

Alongside the schedule, the VALORANT rosters for the six national teams have been revealed. Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines headline the team list.
