Septem7 is back on the server, stepping out of AG’s coaching staff and into the starting lineup.

CHINAAll Gamers have officially announced that Liu “Septem7” Zhening has moved from his assistant coach role to the team’s active player roster.

The move will see Septem7 compete in the upcoming VCT CN Stage 1 in Hangzhou. While the organization has yet to confirm any corresponding departure, a report from 无畏契约球探 suggests that Zhu “Au1” Yihao could be the one making way, with Septem7 expected to take over in-game leading duties from Huang “K1ra” Zhihao.

Although he had been part of All Gamers’ coaching staff since the 2024 season, Septem7 comes from a playing background. Over the years, he has represented teams such as Totoro Gaming and EDward Gaming in VALORANT’s earlier days, before later playing for Rare Atom and NTER in 2023.

Based on his most recent stint as a player until 2023, Septem7 was primarily known for playing Initiator and Sentinel agents.

All Gamers have been on an upward trajectory since the start of the year, most notably after their surprising title run at VCT CN Kickoff in Guangzhou. They won the event without dropping a single series, beating Nova Esports (2-0), Bilibili Gaming (2-0), Dragon Ranger Gaming (2-1), and Xi Lai Gaming (3-2).

That momentum carried into their international debut at VALORANT Masters Santiago. After falling 0-2 to G2 Esports in their opening match, AG bounced back with an upset win over Gentle Mates, eliminating the EMEA side from the tournament.

In that series, Septem7 also represented the team in the 1v1 Skirmish Side Selection against M8’s Taranvir “bipo” Singh, winning convincingly 5-2. AG then went on to take the series 2-1 after dropping Pearl 5-13 before responding on Split 13-4 and Bind 13-8. Their lower bracket run then came to an end against Paper Rex. AG opened the series strongly by taking Corrode 13-10, but PRX answered back with wins on Pearl 13-7 and Split 13-4 to eliminate the Chinese representatives from the event.

Even so, All Gamers were the only VCT CN team to win both map and series against international opposition at the event, while EDward Gaming and Xi Lai Gaming left without a single map and series victory.

All Gamers will begin their VCT CN Stage 1 campaign in just over a week, facing Titan Esports Club on March 31 in Hangzhou as the opening match of the split.
