TYLOO announce SiuFatBB & xihe signings; sword9 back to coaching staff
SiuFatBB arrives from Wolves Esports as TYLOO promote xihe and shift sword9 back to the coaching staff.
CHINA – TYLOO are set to enter VCT CN Stage 2 in Changsha with two new additions, signing Pong "SiuFatBB" Ka Hei from Wolves Esports and promoting Peng "xihe" Wenbo from their academy roster.
At the same time, Li "sword9" Wei will step down from the active lineup once again and return to TYLOO's coaching staff.
sword9's return to coaching marks another shift in what has been a unique journey with TYLOO. The 30-year-old initially joined the organization as head coach in December 2024, leading the team through VCT CN 2025 Kickoff and Stage 1. He later returned to competition as a player in Stage 2 that year and remained part of the active roster until this latest change.
Now, after one year back in the server, sword9 will move back behind the team as an assistant coach. His transition comes as TYLOO bring in another experienced in-game leader in SiuFatBB, who arrives after more than two years competing under the Wolves Esports banner.
SiuFatBB joined Wolves Esports in May 2024 and became one of the key figures in the team's rise within VCT CN. His most notable run came in 2025, when Wolves finished third in VCT CN Stage 1 and qualified for VALORANT Masters Toronto. There, the Chinese side made an impressive international debut, ultimately placing third and establishing themselves as one of the surprise contenders of the tournament.
However, Wolves were unable to sustain that momentum heading into the following season. Their 2026 campaign saw a sharp drop in results, with the team finishing 9th-10th in Kickoff and 11th-12th in Stage 1. Outside the main league, they also struggled to regain form across events such as the CN Evolution Series and the EWC Qualifier, where they repeatedly found themselves near the bottom of the standings.
The Hong Kong in-game leader now joins a roster that has also been searching for consistency, giving both player and organization a chance to reset ahead of the most important stage of the season. With Champions Shanghai still on the horizon, TYLOO will hope his leadership can help guide the team back into contention.
Meanwhile, xihe arrives as the latest player to be promoted from TYLOO's academy system. While there is still limited information surrounding the youngster, he has already appeared with the main team in CN Evolution Series Act 2, where he primarily played Initiators and Omen.
The additions leave TYLOO with a six-man roster consisting of SiuFatBB, xihe, Sun "slowly" Kelun, Zhang "Scales" Zhen, Shen "Erv" Zhiwei, and Indonesian import Moses "Splash" Jonathan. It remains to be seen whether TYLOO will actively rotate between all six players or keep one member as a substitute once the league begins.
In Changsha, TYLOO will compete in Group Alpha, where they are scheduled to face JDG Esports, Trace Esports, EDward Gaming, FunPlus Phoenix, and Nova Esports from July 10-23.
