VCT Masters Reykjavik playoffs bracket drawn
The quarter-final pairings and the bracket order of VCT Masters 1 Reykjavik were drawn earlier today after the end of Day 3.
ICELAND – Set to take place from April 15, the playoffs will be contested in a double-elimination, best-of-three (BO3) bracket, with the grand final featuring a best-of-five (BO5) series.
The first match of the playoffs will see G2 Esports lock horns with either Ninjas in Pyjamas or ZETA DIVISION, followed by a bout between Team Liquid and LOUD later that day.
On Saturday, Paper Rex and DRX (previously Vision Strikers) will play a rematch of their opening Masters Berlin series last year, while The Guard await the opponents between OpTic Gaming and XERXIA in the final encounter of the first round.
The Group A and B decider matches will be played out tonight to finalize the playoff team list. We will witness a familiar matchup between OpTic Gaming and XERXIA Esports after meeting twice in Champions and now twice in Reykjavik – both in the opening and decider matches.
