VCT Pacific confirms eight partnered organizations for its next two-year cycle, featuring a mix of returning teams and new additions from across the region.

PACIFIC – Riot Games has officially announced the eight organizations selected as VCT Pacific partnered teams for the 2027 and 2028 seasons, marking the beginning of a new partnership cycle for the league.

The upcoming season will see VCT Pacific reduce its number of partnered teams from ten to eight, in line with the changes being introduced across all four international leagues.

Five organizations from the inaugural 2023 partnership cycle have retained their spots: Gen.G, Paper Rex, Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ), T1, and ZETA DIVISION.

Joining them are three new additions to the partnership program: Japan's Crazy Raccoon, Thailand's FULL SENSE, and Vietnam's GAM Esports.

The eight VCT Pacific partnered teams for 2027–28 are:

  • 🇯🇵 Crazy Raccoon (CR)
    • Founded in Japan in 2018, Crazy Raccoon is one of Japan’s leading esports organizations that has built a solid gaming and entertainment brand through exciting rosters, creators and local events. Its VALORANT division became one of the country’s early powerhouses, sweeping local tournaments and representing Japan at a number of international events, including Masters Reykjavík, Masters Berlin and VALORANT Champions 2021. That blend of competitive credibility, creator-led community reach and deep cultural relevance makes Crazy Raccoon an important ambassador for Japan within VCT Pacific.
  • 🇹🇭 FULL SENSE (FS)
    • Founded in Thailand in 2020, FULL SENSE has built its identity around developing local talent and representing Thai fans across the international VALORANT ecosystem. The team had its breakthrough in 2021 when they fought their way to VALORANT Champions. They have remained one of the key organizations in Thailand’s shifting esports landscape, earning them a place in VCT Pacific. Their rise reflects their commitment to honing local talent and the strength of Thailand’s passionate VALORANT community.
  • 🇻🇳 GAM Esports (GAM)
    • GAM Esports is one of Vietnam’s most established esports organizations, founded in 2014. The organization’s flagship League of Legends team has been a dominant force in Vietnam, winning numerous titles and representing the country at international events. While their VCT team is relatively newer, they will bring one of Vietnam’s most recognizable esports brands, fan communities and competitive identities into this next chapter of VCT Pacific.
  • 🇰🇷 Gen.G (GEN)
    • Gen.G was established in 2017 and has grown into a global, multi-title brand with roots in South Korea and operations across a number of games. As a VCT Pacific partner, Gen.G quickly became one of the region’s leading teams winning Pacific Kickoff in 2024, reaching Masters Madrid and delivering Pacific’s first international VCT trophy at Masters Shanghai in the same year. Gen.G’s history combines Korean championship culture with a distinctly modern Pacific identity.
  • 🇸🇬 Paper Rex (PRX)
    • Founded in Singapore in 2020, Paper Rex has become one of the most well recognized organizations in VCT with a strong brand and growing global fandom. The organization is one of VCT Pacific’s most prolific representatives at the international and global level having won the inaugural VCT Pacific league in 2023, reaching a number of global events and taking its first international trophy at Masters Toronto 2025. Paper Rex’s bold style, Southeast Asian roster identity and sustained global results have made it a central part of Pacific VALORANT’s international rise.
  • 🇮🇩 Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ)
    • Founded in Indonesia in 2013, Rex Regum Qeon, better known as RRQ, has developed into one of Southeast Asia’s largest multi-title esports organizations. Its success across a number of games, has helped create a strong regional identity and a highly engaged Indonesian fanbase. RRQ entered the VALORANT scene in 2020 and has been a consistent presence in VCT Pacific since 2023. The organization reached its defining VALORANT milestone in 2025 when they won VCT Pacific Stage 1, its first VCT trophy, and qualified as Pacific’s top seed for Masters Toronto. RRQ’s story is a significant step forward for Indonesian esports representation on the global stage.
  • 🇰🇷 T1
    • T1 is one of the most iconic Korean esports organizations that can trace its roots to the country’s early professional gaming era. Its legacy spans a number of esports titles, including League of Legends where they have established a global reputation for excellence. T1 entered VALORANT in 2020 and joined VCT Pacific as a partner team in the 2023 season. The team has since qualified for multiple global events and reached its first major VALORANT milestone at Masters Bangkok 2025 where they took the trophy. T1 brings to Pacific an unmatched combination of Korean esports heritage, global brand recognition and championship expectations.
  • 🇯🇵 ZETA DIVISION (ZETA)
    • ZETA DIVISION is a Japanese multi-title esports organization founded in 2018. The organization entered VALORANT in 2020 and quickly established itself as a national standard-bearer by winning the Japanese Ignition Series and First Strike Japan. ZETA has been one of VCT Pacific’s partnered teams since 2023, qualifying for Champions Los Angeles that year. ZETA continues to be one of Japan’s foundational VALORANT teams and will carry that legacy forward into the future with VCT Pacific.

“This list of teams was decided after a highly competitive, months-long, selection process where we reviewed a large number of applications. Our priority was to select teams who would help to foster a compelling VCT ecosystem for our fans in the long-term. So while past competitive performance is something we celebrate, it was not the deciding consideration for us in this process.”

Instead, the selection process focused on four key areas: organizations that put fans and players first, build strong connections with their communities, demonstrate long-term sustainability, and actively support their respective home regions.

The decision also marks the departure of several familiar organizations from the partnership program, including KIWOOM DRX, DetonatioN FocusMe, Global Esports, and Team Secret, which were part of the league's inaugural partnered lineup in 2023. Nongshim RedForce and VARREL were not selected either as teams coming from the Ascension route.

Despite losing partnership status, organizations will still have opportunities to compete in VCT Pacific through the new qualification pathways being introduced for 2027.

As part of the new partnership program, the eight organizations will receive financial support from Riot Games, opportunities to earn additional revenue through in-game items such as Team Capsules, and guaranteed spots in VCT Pacific Kickoff.

Unlike the previous partnership cycle, however, partnered teams will not automatically receive places in every VCT Pacific event throughout the season.

The revamped competitive format will open additional opportunities for non-partnered organizations to enter the circuit through Open Qualifiers, with qualification for subsequent competitions determined by the new tournament structure.

Details and registration for the VCT Pacific Kickoff Qualifier will be announced as early as November 2, with qualifiers set to begin in late November, followed by the Qualifier Playoffs in early December.
