Singapore-based Paper Rex outranked Sentinels, FNATIC, and Evil Geniuses in popularity during the 2023 season, according to Liquipedia.
SINGAPORE – Esports wiki Liquipedia has unveiled its ranking of the most-viewed VALORANT team pages in 2023, with Paper Rex claiming the top spot.
Among the world’s top-performing teams, the Singapore-based squad garnered the world’s attention throughout the 2023 season with their unconventional compositions and aggressive approach.
Their playstyle wasn’t just for show; it propelled them to success, leading them to victory in the inaugural edition of the VCT Pacific League as well as finishing second runners-up at VALORANT Masters Tokyo despite playing with a stand-in. Khalish “d4v41” Rusyaidee and co. also wrapped up the year on a high note with an impressive second-place finish at the 2023 VALORANT Champions held in Los Angeles.
With an exceptional season, Paper Rex surpassed renowned teams such as the North American powerhouse Sentinels (#2), Masters Tokyo winners FNATIC (#3), and the 2023 world champions Evil Geniuses (#4).

Chinese representatives EDward Gaming claimed the 16th position, while FunPlus Phoenix secured the 19th place.
The list reflects the curiosity of people in discovering more about teams, their members, the organization, and the accomplishments they have achieved—all comprehensively documented on Liquipedia.
Moreover, Paper Rex’s influence extend beyond the team’s collective success, as four of their members stand out as the only players from VCT Pacific to secure positions in the top 20 list of the most visited VALORANT personalities in 2023, with three of them being the sole Southeast Asian players featured.
Ilia “something” Petrov claimed the top spot, Jason “f0rsakeN” Susanto secured the 3rd position as the most viewed VALORANT player on Liquipedia, Wang “Jinggg” Jing Jie landed in 8th place, and former substitute Patiphan “CGRS” Posri attained the 11th position.
Looking ahead, Paper Rex are set to make a compelling statement at the upcoming VCT Pacific KICKOFF event scheduled for February 17. Their top-seed position, earned through their win in the 2023 Pacific League, grant them a first-round bye. As they progress, Paper Rex will go head-to-head with the winners of the Gen.G and RRQ match, with a coveted playoff berth at stake.
