Celebrating the end of 2022, Riot Games will release a three-part documentary about the 2022 VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) season on December 12-16.
VCT 2022 documentary “The Fearless” is a three-part docuseries chronicling the 2022 season and shining the spotlight on some of the iconic players throughout the year: Benedict “Benkai” Tan, Koji “Laz” Ushida, Kim “stax” Gu-taek, Pujan “FNS” Mehta, Jake “Boaster” Howlett, Kyrylo “ANGE1” Karasov, Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi, and more.
Riot Games recorded exclusive footage from the start of the season at Masters 1 Reykjavik in April all the way to the culmination of the 2022 tournament season at VALORANT Champions Istanbul in September, capturing all the emotions of the players that aspire to be the greatest and prove themselves on the biggest stages of the game.

“As we end one era of the VCT and look towards the next, we’d like to take a moment to reflect and remember the players, teams, and moments that made 2022 incredible.” the announcement reads.
The trailer shared brief insights about LOUD’s victory at the 2022 VALORANT world championship, ZETA DIVISION’s dark horse run that shocked the world to represent Japan to its first Masters playoffs in Reykjavik, the breakout moment for DRX at Champions, and more.
“There’s a possibility of never lifting a trophy; all I know is that this is my dream when I was younger, and I am not gonna give up,” Boaster reflects on his 2022 run with Fnatic and his future endeavors. It also highlights the hardships that Kyrylo “ANGE1” Karasov had to go through as an in-game leader of one of EMEA’s top teams and how the stakes were higher for him vis-à-vis younger talents. “When you’re young, it’s pretty easy. When you’re older […].” says the 33-year-old.
The documentary will first premiere on December 12 and will be continued in a two-day cadence until December 16.
