INDONESIA – RRQ have officially promoted academy player Jonathan “Natz” Adiputra to their VCT Pacific League roster, where he will serve as a substitute for the main squad.
Jonathan Hoo, Head of VALORANT Operations at RRQ, confirmed the call-up while clarifying that Natz will not be jumping into action immediately. “Happy to reward hard work. This doesn’t mean Natz will play straight away, we have him there in case of any emergency for the main team. But we hope he can travel with us to international events.”
Fresh off his 24th birthday, Natz has already carved out a solid resume since 2020. Before joining RRQ Academy, he was part of the championship-winning TEAMnxl> roster at First Strike Indonesia in 2020, competing alongside former BOOM and RRQ player Saibani “fl1pzjder” Rahmad.

He later joined Alter Ego, competing from 2021 to 2023 alongside players who would go on to reach tier-one, including RRQ’s Bryan “Kushy” Setiawan and David “xffero” Monangin, AG’s Delbert “deLb” Tanoto, as well as ex-RRQ’s Hagai “Lmemore” Tewuh.
Under the Alter Ego banner, Natz made it to the main event of both the VCT APAC Stage 2 Challengers and the VCT APAC Last Chance Qualifier in 2022. He also helped the team secure a third-place finish in the 2021 VCT Challengers SEA Stage 3 Playoffs, behind only Paper Rex and Bren Esports, and notably placed second in the 2022 VALORANT Challengers Indonesia Stage 2 event on the domestic front.
Following his time with Alter Ego in mid-2023, Natz went on to represent Hike Digital Esports and THE HERO DETA, reaching the main events of Split 2 in both 2023 and 2024, though without deep playoff runs.
In 2025, Natz competed under the RRQ Academy banner, where he and his team placed 7-8th in Split 1 and improved to 5th in Split 2. His recent performances in Split 2 and Split 3 of VALORANT Challengers Southeast Asia, particularly his impact as a Sentinel player using Cypher and Vyse, have made him a standout fragger and one of the circuit’s most consistent and reliable performers.
The timing of his promotion comes as RRQ find themselves in a high-stakes period. Their grand finals win over Gen.G in VCT Pacific Stage 1 boosted their status as a top Pacific contender for VALORANT Champions Paris.

In Stage 2, just days after returning from Riyadh for the Esports World Cup, RRQ suffered an early setback with a loss to Global Esports but rebounded with important wins over Gen.G and Nongshim RedForce before falling to DRX. Their final group stage clash against Team Secret will be decisive, with a playoff spot hanging in the balance.
While it remains unclear when or if Natz will see any playtime in the VCT Pacific League for the remainder of this season, calling up one of their top academy talents to the main roster suggests that RRQ are keeping their options open should performance demand change.
