t3xture secures the No. 2 place at The VALO2ASIA Awards 2024, solidifying his status as the best player in the Pacific region this year.
CHINA – Kim “t3xture” Na-ra of Gen.G has claimed the No. 2 spot in the Top 20 APAC Players at The VALO2ASIA Awards 2024. The 25-year-old duelist has been instrumental in Gen.G’s meteoric rise to the top of the 2025 VCT Pacific season, leading them to a historic milestone as the first team from the region to lift an international VALORANT trophy at VALORANT Masters Shanghai.
t3xture’s journey to the international stage began with Global Esports in 2023 for the inaugural season of VCT Pacific, where his reputation as a standout duelist from domestic Korean team Dplus KIA brought high expectations. However, a switch to Sentinel duties during this period saw him deliver reliable performances though they weren’t particularly exceptional. The turning point came when he joined Gen.G in 2024, returning to his roots as a duelist with a fully Korean roster.

Heading into the 2024 season, Gen.G was viewed as a team with potential but wasn’t pegged as a title contender. However, they shattered expectations by becoming the dominant force in the Pacific region. The team began their streak with a victory at KICKOFF, followed by a second-place finish at VALORANT Masters Madrid. They continued their momentum by securing second place in VCT Pacific Stage 1, winning the prestigious VALORANT Masters Shanghai, and capping off their regional run with another victory in VCT Pacific Stage 2.
t3xture emerged as the heart of Gen.G’s success, delivering clutch performances and maintaining consistent firepower throughout the season. His high-octane playstyle and ability to secure pivotal rounds have earned him recognition as one of the most reliable duelist players in the Pacific region. It was also made possible by the strong synergy within the Gen.G roster. His teammates’ strategic setups and support allowed him to shine, turning the team into an unstoppable force.
Here’s what the voting panel members of the 2024 VALO2ASIA Awards had to say about t3xture:
Victoria “ChubbyNinja” Cheng: “Korean VALORANT rejoiced with the return of t3xture to a duelist role in 2024. There seems to be very little that can stop GENG when t3xture is having a good day, and it seems he has many of those.”
Nico “blackenBlue” Gayoso: “The evolution of t3xture has been great to witness. Constantly refining his game to the level of competition, he was the spearhead that GEN.G needed to win Pacific’s first-ever Masters trophy, and in such impressive fashion. Sometimes, firepower is exactly what you need, and texture is one of the best there is in the world in that regard.”
