Talon Esports has announced an open tryouts process for its VALORANT roster.
HONG KONG — Talon Esports is currently on the lookout for individuals for its new VALORANT division. Any individuals from Asia appear to be eligible for recruitment as long as they can communicate in English and are able to travel. However, players from the Philippines are prioritized, according to the poster.
Talon Esports also requires candidates to be ranked in Radiant as recently as Episode 4 (Act 1 or current Act 2) and has never been sanctioned for misconduct. Those interested in applying will have until March 28 to submit their application.
Talon Esports is a Hong Kong-based esports organization that competes in League of Legends, Dota 2, Arena of Valor, Rainbow Six Siege, Overwatch Contenders (OWC), Tekken 7, and Street Fighter V. Talon is most known for its PSG Talon franchise team in the Pacific Championship Series (PCS) LoL circuit.
Early this month, the organization announced its expansion to the Philippines, and it hopes to have its flag fly during the forthcoming VCT Stage 2 Challengers. “We have been big fans of the game since its release in 2020 and seen the success of VCT across the globe last year. We know that the Philippines has world-class talent and look forward in strengthening the country’s representation on the international stage,” said Xiao “Sean” Zhang, CEO of Talon.
