The sole invite to the US$100,000 competition in Manila has been handed out to the domestic VCT Pacific representatives.
PHILIPPINES – Team Secret have been announced as the sole team directly invited to participate at APAC Predator League 2024, taking place on January 11-14 in their home city of Manila, Philippines.
The team around Jessie Cristy “JessieVash” Cuyco are the only one to be invited, where they will be competing alongside 15 other teams that qualified through regional events across Asia, including India’s Orangutan, Indonesia’s BOOM Esports and ARF Team, and Japan’s FAV Gaming. Three more teams are left to be confirmed, one each from Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan.
Taking place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, they will also go head-to-head with local competitors in Oasis Gaming and ZOL Esports, who come out on top of the regional PH qualifier over VCT Ascension PH representatives NAOS Esports and Eroll Jule “EJAY” Delfin’s Valhalla, respectively.

Team Secret are the highest-ranked name on the list, being the only VCT Pacific team in attendance who nearly secured a spot at VALORANT Champions Los Angeles in August but were edged out by ZETA DIVISION in the VCT Pacific LCQ grand finals. The 2024 APAC Predator League will serve as Team Secret’s initial testing ground, with Noel “NDG” De Guia on board following the decision to bench and ultimately release Jayvee “DubsteP” Paguirigan from the team.
Team Secret may feel a certain level of pressure to prove themselves against tier-two opposition. Given the close timing between the APAC Predator League 2024 and the start of the upcoming season, this tournament might end up being the only one they participate in during the off-season.
Team Secret are:

- 🇵🇭 Jim “BORKUM” Timbreza
- 🇵🇭 Jeremy “Jremy” Cabrera
