TSM Female have announced the signing of Karnthida “dodonut” Chaisrakeo, one of the very first Southeast Asian players to join an NA-based VALORANT team.
Karnthida “dodonut” Chaisrakeo, a former The Impaler (now Renatus White) player from Singapore, has inked a permanent deal to join TSM Female. The Singaporean player will fill the last vacant spot on the roster following the departure of Zoe “Zoessie” Servais in late June.
Previously, the duelist player has been playing with her new teammates in the third and fourth editions of the Pittsburgh Knights Sakura Cup as a trial player, where the team made finals on both editions, with Karnthida topping the scoreboard of four of the six series played.
dodonut has enjoyed individual success throughout her career in Southeast Asia and North America, consistently ranking as the team’s highest-rated player with an average of 246 ACS so far, according to THESPIKE.GG. During her time in Singapore, she played under a variety of banners, becoming best known for her tenures with The Impaler, and Zero Synergy. She attended the VCT MY/SG Stage 2 Challengers 1 Playoffs and numerous FSL Opens, with Legion of Valkyries June 2021 being her last appearance in Asia when The Impaler took the runner-up medal.

dodonut will be joining familiar faces in this new challenge, such as Catherine “cath” Leroux, a former Counter-Strike player who had played for two of the scene’s strongest all-female squads: CLG Red and Dignitas Female. Additionally, she became the first player in Southeast Asia to be playing in the North American circuit of VCT Game Changers.
TSM Female will hope that the move can stimulate a team that has played well but has been unable to contend for titles this year. They reached the VCT Game Changers Playoffs on a regular basis but were unable to break the jinx of 5th-6th place finishers during the first and second series of Game Changers.
