VALORANT Challengers Indonesia Split 1 is set to host six teams during the main event for a prize pool of US$15,000.
INDONESIA – The qualifier dates and registration links for VALORANT Challengers Indonesia Split 1, taking place from January 24 to March 31, have been announced.
Registration for the Open Qualifier will remain open until January 19, with the first matches kicking off five days later.
The Open Qualifier will consist of two stages, beginning with Qualifier 1 on January 24-25 with a best-of-three single-elimination format to determine the eight advancing teams to the second qualifier. The following day will see Qualifier 2 take place on January 26-28, featuring a best-of-three double-elimination bracket, with the top four teams gaining direct entry to the main event encompassing the Regular Season and Playoffs.

The Regular Season will run from February 3 to March 10, where the four qualified teams will go head-to-head against two invited sides and battle it out in a best-of-three round-robin stage across four weekends totaling nine days.
At the end of the Regular Season, no teams will face elimination as it only sets the seeding for the double-elimination bracket. Matches will continue to unfold in best-of-three settings, except for the final two encounters: the Lower Final and Grand Final, both adopting a best-of-five format.

Another change for the season involves the total prize pool, now set at US$15,000 marking a 40% reduction from the previous season’s US$25,000 prize pool for each split. Details regarding the distribution of the prize pool remain unknown at the time of publication.
Challengers Indonesia will maintain its previous system from last year and won’t implement Circuit Points system utilized by some other circuits. Instead, only the champions of Split 2 will earn the opportunity to represent the region at VCT Ascension Pacific 2024.
BOOM Esports emerged victorious in the second split of Challengers Indonesia last year, putting a stop to Dominatus’ Cinderella run at Mall Taman Anggrek, Jakarta, to secure their spot at VCT Ascension Pacific in Bangkok, Thailand.
