Riot Games and TGC have launched the registration process for VALORANT Challengers MY/SG Split 1, featuring a prize pool of MYR90,000 (~SGD25,769).
MALAYSIA/SINGAPORE – The qualifying process for VALORANT Challengers MY/SG Split 1 has been revealed, taking place from January 27. Teams hailing from the region have the opportunity to register until January 19, following which the brackets will be revealed on January 25.
The Qualifier will consist of two stages, with the first being an open bracket on January 27-28 which will determine the sixteen teams who will advance to the closed best-of-three round-robin bracket. These sixteen sides will be split into two groups of eight for the competition on February 3-4, with eight teams moving on to the Regular Season.
Commencing on February 17, the Regular Season of MY/SG will be played online, spanning an entire month in a best-of-three round-robin stage. As the dust settles, the leading six teams will progress to the playoffs contested through a best-of-three double-elimination bracket, except for the Lower Final and Grand Final matches.

The prize pool distribution will see the winners receiving MYR40,000, while other playoff-qualifying teams will also share a portion of the MYR90,000 prize pool.
Bleed Esports’ dominance in the previous two Challengers MY/SG splits of the past year catapulted them into the limelight. Their resounding victories without dropping a single victory during Split 2 paved the way for their qualification into the VCT Ascension Pacific event.
Under the leadership of Ngô “crazyguy” Công Anh, they further secured the trophy in the Bangkok competition and earned promotion into the VCT Pacific League for the next two seasons in 2024 and 2025. The competition for the top spot in MY/SG this year appears to be wide open as Bleed Esports have ascended to the tier-one circuit in Seoul, in addition to the recent major roster shuffles.

UPDATE — The previous edition of the rulebook indicated that the Open Qualifier (Phase 1) would occur in a BO1 format. This has been rectified to take place in a BO3 format.
