Six spots for the PH₱1,200,000 VALORANT Challengers Philippines Split 1 will be decided through the qualifying process.
PHILIPPINES – The qualifying process for VALORANT Challengers Philippines Split 1 has been announced by PPGL, which will play out starting on February 8.
Teams have the chance to register for the open qualification process through the provided Google Form until the deadline on February 5, just three days before the action kicks off. Participants must meet the current rank requirement of Immortal 3 and/or be contenders in Premier, along with presenting a Games and Amusement Board (GAB) license before advancing to the top six (Crossover stage).
Two open qualifiers are set to take place on February 8-9 and 10-11. These qualifiers will follow a best-of-three double-elimination bracket format, determining the top three teams from each qualifier to secure a spot in the group stage.

The six qualified teams in total from the two open qualifiers will join four invited sides determined from the top four from last season’s second split in Oasis Gaming, NAOS Esports, Geek Fam, and ZOL Esports in the Regular Season (Group Stage). It will take place from February 14 to March 13, featuring a best-of-three single round-robin bracket.
Following the group stage, the top two teams will progress directly to the semi-finals scheduled for March 30. Meanwhile, teams finishing third to sixth will participate in the Crossover Stage Matches on March 29, where the top two squads will also advance to the semi-finals while the remaining bottom two will be eliminated.
The semi-finals will utilize a single-elimination, best-of-three bracket format to determine the grand finalists, who will compete on the subsequent day, March 31. The grand finals will be a best-of-five series, where teams will vie for the lion’s share of the PH₱1,200,000 prize pool.

NAOS Esports secured the championship title in both the 2023 Challengers Philippines Split 1 and 2, triumphing over Oasis Gaming in the grand finals on both occasions. Their victory in the second split during the CONQuest Festival in Pasay also earned them qualification for VCT Ascension Pacific where they navigated through the group stage, defeating the likes of Fancy United, BOOM Esports, and ONE Team Esports.
However, NAOS experienced a setback, losing to the eventual finalists SCARZ in the playoffs at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre to ultimately finish in 3rd-4th place.
