The six teams set to compete in the VALORANT Challengers SEA Split 1 Qualifier have now been confirmed.
SOUTHEAST ASIA – The tier-three tournaments and Premier EP9 Act 3 season have wrapped up, finalizing the six teams set to compete in the VALORANT Challengers SEA Split 1 Qualifier.
The final team to secure their spot was Aqil “kayle” Ariff’s Himothys, who clinched their place through the BREAKPOINT tournament for MY/SG. Himothys’ Duelist Mok “FirstLove” Darren also revealed that the team pulled off a series of upsets, defeating Lim “lenne” Lionel’s IGNITE and Todak, despite having no prior practice. However, going forward, FirstLove will step into a substitute role to focus on his studies, with Bryston “Miz” Tan from Soi Thai Esports replacing him.
S2 Esports secured their spot through the SOOP Elite Cup for the TW/HK region, while Blue Eyes White Dragon qualified via the ON Live VALORANT Series for Vietnam, upsetting teams like Team Big BAAM and Team Flash along the way.

The remaining three teams earned their spots through the in-game Premier system from Episode 9 Act 3: Team NKT, Z11 (formerly PAO I HAVE GUN), and Sdobbies.
Of these six, Team NKT is perhaps the most notable, having previously won the prestigious Predator League Thailand, only falling short to Made in Thailand in the SOOP VALORANT League Thailand Qualifier.
The six teams will be divided into two single-elimination round-robin groups, each with three teams, on January 7-8. The top team from each group will advance to the Promotion/Relegation stage, where they’ll join teams like Fancy United Esports, Xipto Esports, The MongolZ, and others, all competing for three coveted spots in the main event.
The team list is as follows:
Group A | Group B |
🇹🇭 Team NKT | 🇹🇭 Z11 |
🇸🇬 Himothys | 🌏 S2 Esports |
🇻🇳 BEWD | 🇹🇭 Sdobbies |
