The final eight teams will battle it out in a double-elimination bracket from September 23 to October 1.
CHINA – The VALORANT China Evolution Series Act I Playoffs are set to kick off from September 23 to October 1 in Shanghai. Eight of the best Chinese teams will be battling it out to gain some important ranking points in the race to reach the Ascension China tournament in December.
The playoffs will be headlined by four invited sides that finished in the top four of the China Last Chance Qualifier: EDward Gaming, Bilibili Gaming, FunPlus Phoenix, and TYLOO. Four more teams round out the list after topping the Play-In stage: Attacking Soul Esports, Rare Atom, Trace Esports, and Team Weibo.
The two Play-In winners, Attacking Soul Esports and Rare Atom, powered through their opponents to advance to the playoffs without dropping a single series.

Attacking Soul Esports fields the same lineup from VALORANT Masters Tokyo but with the new inclusion of Ren “Zero1” Mengzhen (任梦真). On the other hand, Rare Atom enter as the unexpected contender, finding their rhythm with newcomers Park “stew” Young-chan, Chae “yoman” Young-mun, and head coach Ma “ValAnalysis” Hyun-sung.
Having secured five straight victories, ASE and RA enter the double-elimination bracket with high confidence. In the opening round, they are set to clash with TYLOO and FunPlus Phoenix, respectively.
EDward Gaming and Bilibili Gaming are coming into the event as the tournament favorites after impressive finishes at the recent VALORANT Champions Los Angeles tournament. Zheng “ZmjjKK” Yongkang and co. will take on Trace Esports who consist of the former Totoro Gaming core, while the Zhong “Biank” Jian Fei-led squad is set to go head-to-head against Team Weibo.
