Paper Rex, G2 Esports, and Gen.G headline the teams traveling to Fuzhou, China for the VALORANT Radiant International Invitational.
CHINA – VALORANT Esports CN has unveiled the full lineup for the VALORANT Radiant International Invitational, scheduled for December 18–21 in Fuzhou.
The event serves as a continuation of last year’s Radiant Invitational but steps up in scale for 2025, moving from an Asia-focused event into a full international showcase with the inclusion of G2 Esports. Six teams will compete, three of which come from outside China: VCT Pacific representatives Paper Rex and Gen.G, along with VCT Americas’ G2 Esports.
Paper Rex arrive in Fuzhou as the defending champions, having won the then-named VALORANT Radiant Asia Invitational in Chengdu last year after defeating DetonatioN FocusMe in the grand finals.

Gen.G will debut their new roster in Fuzhou, though the lineup has yet to be confirmed at the time of writing. The team is set to appear first at the SOOP VALORANT League in Seoul next week. Currently, only Kim “Karon” Won-tae, Kim “t3xture” Na-ra, and Ha “Ash” Hyun-cheol remain under contract. Jung “Foxy9” Jae-sung has entered restricted free agency, and Byeon “Munchkin” Sang-beom has parted ways with the organization to rejoin T1. Gen.G also took part in last year’s Radiant Invitational, finishing 5–6th.
G2 Esports will return to China after their third-place run at VALORANT Masters Shanghai in 2024. Since VALORANT Champions Paris, the team has moved on from Jonah “JonahP” Pulice and has been fielding Andrej “babybay” Francisty in his place.
Representing VCT CN are Bilibili Gaming, the 2025 Season Finals champions, who will be competing with new head coach Tang “Muggle” Shijun following his move from EDward Gaming. FunPlus Phoenix join the event as the winners of the CN Evolution Series Epilogue, and will field two new additions: former Bleed Esports star Natchaphon “sScary” Matarat and rookie Ou “Setrod” Tai-keng.

Nova Esports round out the lineup as the lowest-ranked side on paper, finishing 9-10th in Stage 2 but securing a runner-up finish behind FPX in the Evolution Series Epilogue.
Details on the tournament format remain limited, but the event is confirmed to be part of a large two-week year-end VALORANT festival in Fuzhou. The city will host a full slate of activities, including the National Competition Grand Finals for VALORANT PC and Mobile, fan events, stage performances, interactive booths, and appearances by pro players, creators, cosplayers, and special guests.
The 2025 VALORANT Radiant International Invitational is shaping up to be the year’s largest and most culturally significant OFF//SEASON event in the calendar, with the following participating teams:
- Paper Rex (Pacific)
- G2 Esports (Americas)
- Gen.G (Pacific)
- Bilibili Gaming (CN)
- FunPlus Phoenix (CN)
- Nova Esports (CN)
