Manila gets its own VALORANT game server soon.
PHILIPPINES – Riot Games has officially announced plans to launch a new VALORANT game server in Manila, Philippines, set to go live on August 19 alongside patch 11.04.
This addition will mark the sixth server available in the Asia Pacific Shard, joining existing locations such as Hong Kong and Singapore. This will provide Filipino players with improved game performance, reduced latency, and a more stable connection by offering a local server option tailored to their region.

“Over the past 5 years, our Southeast Asian community, particularly in the Philippines, has grown significantly. We’re grateful for this incredible passion and want to ensure that we are properly supporting our player base! Part of this includes evaluating how accessible our game is for players in different parts of the world.
Currently, most of our Filipino community plays on our Hong Kong server. And while this has supported our growth in the region, there are some infrastructure limitations that have affected game quality. By launching a new game server in Manila we hope to lower ping, reduce instability and improve overall connectivity for our Filipino community.”
The Manila server will simply add another option for players, meaning Filipino users can still choose to play on other servers like Hong Kong or Singapore. Premier eligibility will remain unchanged, as the server will be part of the Asia zone and continue to fall under the Challengers Southeast Asia league.
