The four teams moving on to the VCL Thailand Split 2 playoffs are determined, with the remaining four having been left behind.
THAILAND – VCL Thailand Split 2 has reached its playoff stage following five weeks of group play. The TH฿800,000 tournament began with eight teams competing for a coveted spot in the VCT Ascension Pacific tournament, but now only four teams remain in the running.
Made in Thailand, XERXIA, CRIT Esports, and FULL SENSE all punched tickets to the playoffs, set to take place on June 1-4.
Reigning champions MiTH did so as the top-seeded team in the regular season, with Kititkawin “PTC” Rattanasukol and co. winning 14 out of their 16 maps played. With an impressive round differential, the team finished their regular season on a high note, solidifying their position as strong contenders to represent the region in their home soil, Bangkok, next month.

Meanwhile, XERXIA, CRIT Esports, and FULL SENSE all hold a win-loss record of 4-3. Initially, it was announced that Attack All Around would qualify instead of XERXIA based on map differential. However, a week later, a new announcement was made clarifying that the tiebreaker would be determined based on head-to-head results, aligning with the correct method.
“We would like to inform you that there has been an error in calculating the rankings of the teams that have advanced to the playoffs, resulting in incorrect rankings for the teams that made it to the playoffs. Upon thorough investigation, it has been discovered that the team rankings were incorrect, and we sincerely apologize for the confusion caused,” the announcement reads.
Notable performances were delivered by MiTH’s Kantapon “Kadoom” Kingthong, who had the highest rating on the stage with 1.37, followed by SPE’s Thanyathon “Leviathan” Nakmee and MiTH’s Kititkawin “PTC” Rattanasukol in second and third place, respectively, with average ratings of 1.23 and 1.22.
A surprising turn of events came from the Split 2 runners-up, Sharper Esports, who were unable to progress to the next stage after losses to MiTH, AAA, NKT, and FULL SENSE in the Regular Season.
The double-elimination bracket for the final four will kick off on June 1 at 6 PM SGT and conclude on June 4 with the grand final at 8 PM.
