Ten teams will be taking part in the Ascension Pacific tournament, with US$100,000 and a VCT Pacific League spot on the line.
THAILAND – Riot Games has revealed the groups and the schedule for VCT Ascension Pacific, which will run from June 28 to July 9. The victors of the ten regional Challenger Leagues in the APAC region will compete in this ten-day event for an opportunity to be promoted to the VCT Pacific League.
VCT Ascension Pacific will feature two single round-robin groups, taking place at the Pullman Grande Sukhumvit Hotel from June 28 to July 4, followed by a single-elimination bracket on July 7-9 for the top six seeds at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The winning team of each group will move on directly to the semi-finals, while the second and third-placed teams will face off in the quarter-finals.

Tickets for the tournament are currently on sale. For the daily group stage, tickets are priced at THB80 (~US$2.30). As for the playoffs, there are two seating choices available: premium seats priced at THB290 (~US$8.33) and discounted seats priced at THB230 (~US$6.60).
Group A has BOOM Esports and NAOS Esports as some of the strongest contenders for the playoffs, but they have to go through Fancy United Esports, XERXIA, and ONE Team Esports if they wish to secure passage to the semi-finals.
Headlining Group B are Bleed Esports and Dplus KIA, with the former having an undefeated 10W-0L record since the regular season of VCL MY/SG Split 2. They will be joined by SCARZ and two yet-to-be-determined teams from Oceania and South Asia.
The winning side will secure entry into the VCT Pacific League, joining the ten partnered organizations.
In addition, there will be an influencer showmatch during the final two days before the semi-finals and grand finals. This showmatch will showcase well-known creators from the APAC region competing in a best-of-three series. The roster of participants will be announced closer to the event dates.
