Team SMG emerged as the top team in the group stage, securing a flawless record without losing a single map. They are considered the favorites heading into the main event, having achieved an impressive 33W-0L map record so far this year. With the addition of Odella “enerii” Abraham, they will face Point of Authority Blossom in the quarter-finals and are poised to continue their impressive run in the double-elimination playoffs on Wednesday against the winners of THE HERO KDA – Global Esports Phoenix.
The remaining seven teams all qualified for the main event of VCT Game Changers APAC Open 2 with a match record of 5W and 1L: BIGG SCYTHE, FULL SENSE Sapphire, Global Esports Phoenix, Orangutan X, Point of Authority Blossom, Rex Regum Qeon Kaguya, and THE HERO KDA.
