The South Asian circuit’s link to the Pacific Game Changers event, as revealed, suggests the creation of a higher circuit similar to East Asia within APAC. It therefore confirms the breakdown of the APAC circuit into multiple sub-regions, mirroring the structure of the primary Challengers circuit. Further details are anticipated to be revealed in the coming months.
During the 2023 Game Changers season, the now-defunct Global Esports Phoenix team held the highest ranking among South Asian representatives. Meanwhile, Orangutan, despite being India-based, boasted a roster primarily composed of Filipino players. Following the end of the season, both organizations have withdrawn from the circuit, at least temporarily.
