VALORANT Esports Korea has made public the schedule for the upcoming VCT Korea Stage 1 Challengers Group Stage, which starts on Wednesday, February 23
The VCT Korea Stage 1 Challengers Group Stage will kick off on February 23 and run through March 13 behind closed doors in South Korea. It will feature eight of Korea’s best teams playing round-robin BO3s for three weeks. By the end of March 13, the top two teams will advance to Upper Bracket Round 2, while the third to sixth finishers will start their playoff runs in Upper Bracket Round 1.
World Game Star, the runner-up in the National ShotVAL Pride tournament, squares off against DRX in one of the first week’s standout matches. Meanwhile, ESportsConnected will face their toughest test yet in Week 2, when they face DWG KIA for the second time on March 2 and Kim “stax” Gu-taek’s DRX four days later.
Week 3 will feature a high-stakes battle between two of the highest-ranked teams in attendance, DWG KIA and DRX, one day before the group stage concludes. On March 13, the remaining pair of group stage series will play out, with World Game Star drawing ESportsConnected and Team T5 getting pit up against Maru Gaming.
