With a peak of 3.1 million viewers, VCT Masters Madrid is now the most-watched VALORANT event to date.
SPAIN – VALORANT Masters Madrid shattered all previous viewership records in VALORANT history by reaching a peak of 3.1 million concurrent viewers, making it the most successful VALORANT event ever. The peak viewership nearly doubled (48%) the previous record set during Masters Tokyo last year, as stated by Riot Games in a press statement.
The Average Minute Audience (AMA) achieved a new global event record of 1.1 million, soaring 97% higher than the previous benchmark set by Masters Tokyo.
The grand final saw a showdown between North American powerhouse Sentinels and the all-Korean squad Gen.G in a tense best-of-five match. Ultimately, Tyson “TenZ” Ngo and his team clinched victory after five maps, 3-2, to secure their second international trophy.

The VALORANT Champions Tour is set to continue with another highly anticipated international event, this time in China. VALORANT Masters Shanghai is set to play out from May 23 to June 9, culminating in its final three days at the largest venue in VCT history – the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
Representing VCT Pacific will be T1, Paper Rex, and Gen.G, while the remaining nine teams from the other three major regions will be determined by the end of Friday.
