VCT Pacific has released the latest episode of Homegrown, its ongoing docuseries that highlights some of the league’s most promising talent and takes fans back through their journeys to the top.
SOUTH KOREA – This ‘Homegrown’ episode shines the spotlight on Papaphat “Primmie” Sriprapha, the rising star of TALON Esports, who’s already being hailed by many in the Pacific community as one of the next great and most promising players in the global VALORANT scene.
Primmie first appeared in ranked play, quickly becoming a hot topic among top players on the APAC server for his near-flawless mechanics, including his crisp aim, lightning-fast reflexes, and clean crosshair placement. His reputation also caught the attention of Thai veteran and TALON in-game leader Thanamethk “Crws” Mahatthananuyut, who saw the potential in Primmie and pushed to bring him onto the team towards the end of the 2024 Pacific season.
To bring Primmie onto the team, Crws had to convince both coach Hector “FrosT” Rosario and Primmie’s parents. After countless unanswered messages and delays, the moment Primmie finally gave the green light to go pro, Crws booked a flight back to Thailand the very next day. He then made a four-hour journey to Primmie’s hometown, even bringing his own parents along to help convince Primmie’s family.

In doing so, TALON had to forgo a crucial prep against ZETA DIVISION in the 2024 VCT Pacific Stage 2 Regular Season, which ultimately cost them the match.
But the gamble paid off. Once Primmie joined the roster, the rest was history. He made his VCT Pacific debut during Stage 2 Playoffs in a high-stakes best-of-three against Team Secret, a match that decided who would advance to VALORANT Champions Seoul. TALON swept the series 2-0, with Primmie making an unforgettable entrance on the international stage.
“He might not be a household name in VCT Pacific, there was a time not too long ago when TLN Primmie wasn’t even sure if he wanted to play professionally. Pulled straight from ranked into a playoffs match to qualify for VALORANT Champions, Primmie’s story is all about taking a leap of faith.”
