The Southeast Asian squad delivered another dominant performance in the grand finals, capping off the domestic Pacific circuit with an undefeated run—just like last year.
THAILAND – Xipto Esports were crowned champions of VALORANT Game Changers Pacific 2024 with a dominant 3-0 (Sunset 13-8, Icebox 13-2, Haven 13-5) victory over Japan’s ZETA DIVISION GC today. This victory extends their impressive undefeated streak to 54 consecutive series in the Pacific region, a streak that began at the start of the 2023 season.
The Southeast Asian powerhouse arrived in Bangkok to compete in the first-ever Game Changers LAN for the Pacific region, where they walked away with the US$5,000 first-place prize and secured the top seed for the upcoming VALORANT Game Changers Championship. ZETA DIVISION GC will also join them in Berlin next month as the second representative from the region.

“I think this team is way closer to each other than last year’s, and our team right now is way more open to each other when it comes to criticism, so we improved so fast when it comes to mistakes, in-game, and [other] stuff. Later in Champions, we’re just going to see what’s going to happen, and we’re just going to work together as a team,” shared Alexandria “Alexy” Francisco in the post-match interview.
The Filipino player also finished the event as the highest-rated player of the team and the event entirely, with a 1.42 VLR rating, while Mir Gaming GC’s Go “Dorothy” Chae-eun followed closely with a 1.24. What makes this feat even more impressive is that, according to Ryona “Tara” Tan, Alexy also took on the in-game leader role for Xipto Esports during the tournament.
“For the non-believers, just keep not believing because we’re just going to keep winning everything,” Odella “enerii” Abraham fired back in the post-match interview, delivering a bold message to the doubters of Xipto Esports.
Xipto Esports stood head and shoulders above the rest of the Pacific, maintaining an unbroken streak of not dropping a single series domestically over the past two years. The only teams that managed to challenge them and take maps off the Filipino-Indonesian powerhouse were FULL SENSE Sapphire in 2023 and SISU this year—both of which, interestingly, had Patcharapron “poly” Sanitchai on their roster.
As they prepare for their next challenge, the VALORANT Game Changers Championship is set to take place in Berlin from November 8-17. So far, confirmed participants outside the Pacific region include G2 Gozen, GIANTX GC, and Falcons Vega.
