Beijing has been selected as the host city for the VCT CN Stage 1 Finals.
CHINA – Riot Games has announced that the final three days of VCT CN Stage 1 will be held in China’s capital, Beijing.
The top four teams from VCT CN Stage 1 will battle it out in Beijing for three coveted spots at VALORANT Masters Toronto, along with crucial Circuit Points that contribute to VALORANT Champions Paris qualification.
The event will take place at the JDG Esports Center, JDG’s 14,000-square-meter home venue. Primarily used for LPL matches, the venue hosts approximately 40 to 50 matches annually, according to JDG Esports Venue Manager Wang ZhenHuan in an interview with Esports Insider last year.

This isn’t the first time a Chinese city outside of Shanghai has hosted VCT CN matches—last year’s VCT CN Stage 2 Finals were held in Changsha, located in the south-central region of the country.
VCT CN Stage 1 is already underway, with the Regular Season to determine the eight teams advancing to the playoffs—the top four from each group at the end of April 13.
The playoffs will run from April 17-20, culminating in the final four teams flying to Beijing for the finals. The final phase will feature four matches: the upper final, lower semi-final, lower final, and grand final, with the last two being best-of-five series.
