As the organization is reevaluating its options heading into the new VCT season, the Bren Esports VALORANT roster has been made available for transfer as soon-to-be free agents.
PHILIPPINES – After ten months with the lineup, Bren Esports has allowed the players to explore options with other teams, suggesting the Filipino roster’s time with the organization is coming to an end ahead of the offseason.
Bren Esports signed a new Filipino roster around collegiate star player Xavier “xavi8k” Juan in October last year with hopes of returning to the upper echelons of Southeast Asian VALORANT after losing Jayvee “DubsteP” Paguirigan and co. to Team Secret.

This iteration of Bren Esports spent their time together hovering in the top five of the PH rankings, regularly having a presence in domestic competitions but unable to secure any significant victories. The team missed out on qualifying for both VCT APAC Stage Challengers following early exits in the VCT Philippines events. A 9-12th place finish in the BLEED Summer Open after losing to LaZe (GG) and No Namers may have been the last nail in the coffin for the supposed tournament favorites.
In spite of this move, it seems Bren Esports, which has a long history in competitive VALORANT, is not done with the game yet, as the organization’s team manager, Ishan “ggishan” Adolfo, had expressed hopes of putting together another lineup in the near future.
Only Boggs “Symbol” Ramos will remain under contract with Bren Esports but is free to consider other opportunities that arise. Yousef “Hotsauz” El-Yousef has announced his retirement from competitive VALORANT, calling it “a good experience” and something he will never regret.
Meanwhile, Zachary “BraiNfreeZe” Bajarias, Xavier “xavi8k” Juan, and coach See “Evo” Wey Kang have expressed a desire to continue competing and are now exploring their options in the market.
