dummy is mostly known for his decade-long playing career in multiple FPS titles under Team Liquid, NRG Esports, Gen.G, and more.
PHILIPPINES – Tim “dummy” Olson has been named the assistant coach of Team Secret, serving under head coach Evan “Warbirds” Olzem. The American-Filipino will use his expertise in this new role as Team Secret prepare for VCT Pacific Stage 2, scheduled to begin next month on June 15. His first appearance was during their final match against T1 in the knockout round of the Mid-Season Playoffs.
dummy takes up coaching after a decade of competing in various FPS titles professionally, including Team Fortress 2 with froyotech and Evil Geniuses, Overwatch with Team Liquid and NRG Esports, Apex Legends with Gen.G, and more recently VALORANT with Zeal Esports. His recent venture into VALORANT with Zeal Esports, however, didn’t see him play in a single series, as the Cebu-based team disbanded a month later.

This marks dummy’s debut in a coaching capacity, as he has only competed as a player since 2010.

Team Secret will look to qualify for their second international event, VALORANT Champions Seoul, once the play begins at VCT Pacific Stage 2. Jessie Cristy “JessieVash” Cuyco and co. are set to go head-to-head against Bleed Esports and Global Esports in the first week on June 15 and 17, respectively.
