The Singaporean veteran is out of his contract with Team NKT CS:GO and is looking for new opportunities in both VALORANT and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
SINGAPORE – Anthony “ImpressioN” Lim has announced that he has become a free agent, adding that he is open to offers in both VALORANT and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive where he can ply his trade. Moreover, the 26-year-old will also be considering playing in other capacities, such as a coach or a support staff.
Despite continuing to prioritize the king of shooters, ImpressioN does not rule out the possibility of a move away from the game in which he has been competing professionally since 2015 to Riot Games-developed FPS, where he may cross paths with former B.O.O.T-dream[S]cape teammates Benedict “Benkai” Tan and coach Alexandre “alecks” Sallé on the other side of the server.

“I am now a free agent and will no longer be a part of NKT moving forward. I am open to all offers for any position, be it as a player, coach, and/or support staff. [I have] extensive experience as a player and leader, as well as knowledge of the esports industry.” the announcement reads. “And yes, I am also open to VALORANT offers,” he followed up in a separate Tweet.
ImpressioN stands as one of the most decorated Southeast Asian CS:GO players in history, having played for Singapore’s dream[S]cape and B.O.O.T-d[S], where he made numerous international appearances over the years, most notably DreamHack Masters Malmö 2017, ESL One Cologne 2018, IEM Sydney 2018, IEM Shanghai 2018, and two Asia Minors (London 2018, Boston 2018).
After solely playing for top domestic teams since the beginning of his career, ImpressioN embraced a change of scenery in 2019 as he became part of Big Time Regal Gaming, featuring Southeast Asian top talents such as former TYLOO player Kevin “xccurate” Susanto, as well as current Persija Esports player Kevin “Eeyore” Gunawan and current Alter Ego player Adrian “adrnking” Setiawan—the latter will compete in the upcoming VCT APAC Last Chance Qualifier early next month. However, the team disbanded in late 2020 and saw ImpressioN move to yet another international lineup: NG Esports, where he also met former Cloud9 Academy member Erdenetsogt “erkaSt” Gantulga, who just returned to Team NKT to fill in the void of ImpressioN’s departure.
The departure puts an end to a 21-month-long partnership between the 26-year-old captain and his team, which saw the core of the former NG Esports squad that formed Team NKT in mid-2021 become a staple in the top three of the regional HLTV rankings following high placings at various competitions throughout the past two years. With over 27 LAN appearances and 162 competitions under his name, he has become the most experienced player that is now up in the Asian CS:GO and VALORANT markets.
