Kizuna Esports have parted ways with their male roster, it has been announced.
SINGAPORE – Kizuna Esports and their male VALORANT team have gone their separate ways, the organization has announced. This announcement comes just one day after their final match in the VCL MY/SG Split 2 Playoffs, where they were defeated by eventual finalists X10 Esports in the lower bracket final.
The departure of Kizuna Esports comes unforeseen, particularly considering the squad’s recent success, yet sensible given the uncertain calendar of the possible OFF//SEASON tournaments available after the 2023 VALORANT Champions in August. For the time being, the players, as confirmed by Bryce “bryce” Lee, have decided to remain together as a unit while actively searching for offers as a complete package.

“Today, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the release of the Kizuna Esports roster following the end of the VCL MY/SG season.” the official announcement reads. “We wish nothing but the best to our players who have gladly served us over the year. Thank you for everything, and good luck.”
While competing under Kizuna Esports, the squad recently achieved its highest point by securing a third-place finish in VCL MY/SG Split 2. This significant improvement came after their seventh-place performance in the previous split, where they were at risk of being relegated.
The Singaporean organization is not without a team, though, having made an investment in the Game Changers ecosystem earlier this year. The Kizuna Tsuki team, composed of individuals from five different nationalities in the APAC region, is headlined by former X10 Sapphire player Annitta “Alyssa” Peerwantanagul.
