The heartbeat of PRX’s controlled chaos, f0rsakeN is crowned No. 1 following a championship run at Masters Toronto and being the tournament’s MVP.

INDONESIA – Jason “f0rsakeN” Susanto has been named the No. 1 player in the VALO2ASIA Awards 2025 rankings, taking the top spot after a season that once again showcased why he is one of the most complete players VALORANT has ever produced in the APAC region.
The Indonesian star finally claims the Best APAC Player of the Year honor after three straight runner-up finishes from 2021 to 2023, followed by a dip to 10th place last year.

Paper Rex have never lacked firepower. With a roster full of stars, the difference has always been how well those stars fit together. PRX’s identity is built on confidence and controlled chaos, but what makes that style sustainable is having a player who can bend to whatever the team needs without losing elite-level impact. f0rsakeN is that player.

He can be the duelist when PRX need explosive entry power in the past, the flex when a series demands more structure, or the initiator or controller when the team wants a different look. He rotates across agents and roles while still enabling the pace, freedom, and mid-round creativity that define Paper Rex.
It is easy to highlight f0rsakeN’s raw mechanics, because they are absurd. But the reason he keeps landing in No. 1 conversations is that his aim is paired with elite decision-making, plus what appears to be one of the strongest voices in PRX’s comms from the outside looking in.

In 2025, f0rsakeN thrived in 1vX situations, posting some of the most impressive clutch numbers across VCT. One of the defining moments fans will remember is his clutch defuse against Sentinels at VALORANT Masters Toronto, a single play that captured exactly what makes him special. Calm under pressure, clean execution, and the confidence to close when the round is hanging by a thread.

It was also the same tournament where Paper Rex finally broke through for their first international trophy, with f0rsakeN capping it off as the Finals MVP.
One of the easiest details to overlook is how young f0rsakeN still is. At just 21, he has already built a legacy that most players can only dream about, and he has been competing for most of his life after starting at a remarkably early age.

Now crowned the best player in APAC, f0rsakeN continues to carry a piece of the Susanto name that fans have known since his older brother Kevin “xccurate” Susanto’s Counter-Strike days. With how much he has already achieved, and how much time he still has ahead of him, the ceiling is hard to even define.

Comment from judge(s):

Jayvee "DubsteP" Paguirigan: “f0rsakeN has been the best flex player this game has ever seen. The fact that he is this flexible and being able to adjust to what role must be played is mind blowing. f0rsakeN is well known for being the situational genius he is. He thrives in chaotic situations. I believe he is the best player in the league because time and time again he proves that nobody is actually better than him performing on multiple agents in a single tournament.”

Mitchell "Conky" Concanen: “f0rsakeN will always stand out as the GOAT for me with his agent versatility, showing that he can perform in any role.”

Kim "BINBON" Jin-young: “The reason PRX is flawless is because of this player's vast pool of agents and skill. He's a player who always makes you look forward to something new.”

Faiz "realize" Heriadi: “Do I need explaining? The GOAT.”

Clinton "Paperthin" Bader: “f0rsakeN being the MVP of Paper Rex's Masters win, alongside being an IGL, and one of the most selfless players in terms of agent roles, makes him undeniably one of the most valuable players on the planet. Almost every team in VCT would kill to have f0rsaken on their team.”

Victoria "ChubbyNinja" Cheng: “VALORANT adding more agents every year, only means that Jason Susanto will only continue to be the greatest flex player there ever was.”

Choi "XyuN" Hyun-jin: “Since 2021, f0rsakeN has barely experienced any slump. He’s one of the few players I’ve seen whose individual skill has remained consistently exceptional over the years. I’m confident he’ll continue to be just as strong in 2026 and 2027.”
