Wolves Esports add aluba and nothing

by Juandi July 2, 2026

Former Wolves player aluba returns as the team’s new in-game leader, while academy player nothing earns a promotion to the main roster.

CHINAWolves Esports have announced the additions of Zhong "aluba" Haojun and Xie “nothing” Junzheng, bringing their active roster back up to five players ahead of VCT CN Stage 2 in Changsha.

The two arrivals fill the gaps left by Pong "SiuFatBB" Ka Hei’s move to TYLOO and Canadian import Jordan "jowa" Wang’s move to the bench. It remains unclear whether this will be Wolves’ final roster for the Stage 2 Regular Season.

aluba is a familiar name for Wolves Esports, having previously represented the organization during the 2024 season. This time, however, he returns to a very different lineup and environment, with Liu "Spring" Chun-ting now the only remaining player from that previous iteration. Known for his flexibility, aluba is set to take over the in-game leader role for the team.

Since leaving Wolves Esports, aluba had been competing with Ambitious Legend Gaming in China’s tier-two scene. During his time there, he played in the National Competition across two seasons and helped the team qualify for CN Ascension 2025 in Shanghai.

Meanwhile, nothing joins the main roster after being promoted from Wolves Esports’ academy system. Little is known about the player at this stage, with his only recorded appearance coming under LANDODGERS in the CN National Competition. In that match, he played smokes and averaged 155 ACS across two maps.

Wolves Esports enter Stage 2 looking to recover from what has so far been their roughest season to date. The team have finished outside the top 10 in every tournament they have played this year, including CN Kickoff, Stage 1, the CN Evolution Series Cups, and the EWC Qualifier.

Now led by Alexander "alexRr" Frisch, Wolves will be hoping these changes can spark a turnaround in the final stretch of the season as they continue their push toward VALORANT Champions 2026 on home soil in Shanghai.
