The former MiTH analyst, Thanadit “reNny” Sakunchan, will take charge of the India-based Reckoning Esports.
INDIA – Reckoning Esports have officially named Thanadit “reNny” Sakunchan as their new head coach, with the former MiTH analyst set to bring a wealth of strategic insight to the Indian lineup. The announcement follows his recent participation with the team during competitions such as the Predator League India and TEC Challenger Series 10.
The Thai coach will be taking over the reins from Evgenii “esavgabiN” Savgabin, who parted ways with Reckoning Esports at the end of October and has since joined China’s LGD Gaming.
This marks reNny’s first time occupying a head coach role for a team after previously being an analyst for Made in Thailand and working under Sattawut “Leaf” Reathong throughout the past two seasons. He will now be working in tandem with Assistant Coach and Analyst Kinjal “Kilobyte” Biswas for the upcoming season.

reNny’s tenure as an analyst for Made in Thailand was marked by his contribution to the team’s qualification in all three APAC-level tournaments in 2022 (APAC Stage 1, 2, LCQ) , their victory in VCL Thailand Split 1, and a strong but ultimately unsuccessful bid for VCT Ascension against XERXIA in the final of the second split.
The trend of importing international talent into the South Asian circuit has been gaining momentum throughout the season, but when it comes to incorporating Thai coaches, Reckoning Esports have been at the forefront. The team have a history of bringing in coaching talent from Thailand, with Thanawat “olifant” Prathumta having served in a coaching capacity for the team for two brief months in November 2022.
Despite experiencing significant changes to their roster, which saw them part ways with the core players who contributed to their runners-up finish in VCL South Asia Split 2, Reckoning Esports are determined to replicate their success in the upcoming year. Aleksandr “hvoya” Eremin and Harsh “Harshhh” Arora continue to be the cornerstones of last season’s team, providing a solid foundation to construct upon.
With reNny’s addition, Reckoning Esports now have:
- 🇮🇳 Harsh “Harshhh” Arora
- 🇮🇳 Norbu “Karam1L” Tsering
- 🇷🇺 Aleksandr “hvoya” Eremin
- 🇷🇺 Ilya “Anq” Matyash
- 🇹🇭 Thanadit “reNny” Sakunchan (Head coach)
