Kasif “Paradox” Sayyed’s arrival marks RNT’s first player addition since the organization released its previous Indian-Filipino roster in June of last year.
INDIA – Revenant Esports have announced the comeback of Kasif “Paradox” Sayyed, coming into the team as the first piece in their complete rebuild for the 2024 Challengers South Asia circuit. The news comes as little surprise given earlier reports hinting at his inclusion in the team along with Indian star Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar and other high-profile names on the scene.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Paradox says in a press release, “I couldn’t be more excited to rejoin Revenant Esports for 2024. While we had a good run in the VALORANT Challengers South Asia last year, we fell short of our ultimate goal. This year, we’re back with a stronger roster, determined to conquer the region and make it to Ascension.”

Having plied his trade for Revenant Esports between the 2022 and 2023 season, Paradox will now be looking to start afresh once more with the banner that he spearheaded to victory at the 2022 Esportz Premier Series. Revenant Esports concluded the previous season with a respectable 5-6th place finish in the 2023 VALORANT Challengers South Asia Split 2, where Paradox was regularly one of the highest-performing players before parting ways in June of last year.
After his initial tenure with RNT, Paradox made his way to Medal Esports during the OFF//SEASON, where one of their best results was securing a second runners-up position at TEC Challenger Series 10, falling short in the lower final after losing to eventual champions Orangutan.
Revenant Esports are set to make their debut with the new roster in VALORANT Challengers South Asia Split 1, where they will meet Jay “BADlove” Patil’s Van Dijk Fan Club in the opening round on Friday, February 2, at 8:30 PM SGT (UTC+8).
