With at least a top-three finish at VCT Pacific, T1 will join DRX and Paper Rex in the next two major VALORANT events in Tokyo and LA.
SOUTH KOREA – T1 have secured the last Masters Tokyo and Champions Los Angeles spots allocated for Pacific league teams after defeating Gen.G 2-0 (Fracture 13-10, Ascent 13-10). The Byeon “Munchkin” Sang-beom-led side join DRX and Paper Rex as the third and final Pacific team confirmed to the next two international events.
“We hit a certain level now, and I believe in my teammates as well, but I feel we still have a long way to go to be one of the strongest teams in the world as well. After LOCK//IN, I was a little bit disappointed at the way we performed, but I believe in what my teammates can do and what T1 can do as an organization, and I always believe that we are able to achieve whatever we set our mind to,” said Ha “Sayaplayer” Jung-woo in a post-match interview.

Sayaplayer was T1’s most important player through the league as the former Guard player averaged a 1.13 VLR rating (236.7 ACS) across 31 maps to power his team to the top three. The 24-year-old switched back to the Pacific region after spending five years with Florida Mayhem, T1, and The Guard in North America.
Although they have secured the Tokyo and LA spots, T1’s campaign in the league is not over, as they will be facing DRX in the lower final on Saturday at 4 PM SGT. The match will see Son “xeta” Seon-ho and coach Yoon “Autumn” Eu-teum face DRX for the third time after meeting them in the regular season and the 2021 Champions.
