VCT CN will introduce four additional tournaments to fill the gaps between the international league and global events.
CHINA – VCT CN has announced the addition of a new tournament series to its 2025 season calendar: the CN Evolution Champions Tour (进化者杯). The series will consist of four tournaments and take place during the gaps between the VCT CN league and international events
Originally introduced in late 2023 to fill the OFF//SEASON window before the launch of VCT CN, the CN Evolution Champions Tour will return in 2025. It will consist of three Acts, scheduled for February, May, and August, with the competition culminating in the ‘Epilogue’ in November, where teams will compete for the title of CN Evolution 2025 champions.
These tournaments will not contribute to Championship Points for qualifying to VALORANT Champions Paris, nor will they impact the standings of the VCT CN League.

While details are still limited, it has been confirmed that only the twelve VCT CN teams will participate. According to the announcement, CN Evolution will adopt a more “open approach” to “unite a diverse range of VALORANT talent.” This will see teams that don’t qualify for international events with more opportunities for competition, while possibly also allowing those that do qualify to bring their academy or secondary rosters to gain experience against tier-one opposition.
VCT CN 2025 season calendar will look as follows:
- VCT CN Kickoff (January 11-25)
- CN Evolution Act I (February)
- VALORANT Masters Bangkok (February 20 – March 2)
- VCT CN Stage 1 (March 13 – May 4)
- CN Evolution Act II (May)
- VALORANT Masters Toronto (June 4-22) *Date according to VALORANT Esports Global is June 7-22
